About the artist, Dena.
I grew up in a small seaside town on the west coast of Florida, where life revolved around the ocean, the sand, and long days spent on the water. That early connection to the sea never left me and continues to ground the way I move through the world.
Clay entered my life early, in high school, and became just as grounding as the ocean. I was drawn to working with my hands and the quiet focus the process required. Although I stepped away from clay for a number of years, I eventually found my way back, and once I did, I never left.
Today, my work lives between these two worlds. Each piece is handcrafted in porcelain and shaped by travel, coastal landscapes, and time spent near the sea. Presented as chapters, this body of work reflects the places, moments, and experiences that continue to shape my practice.
Thank you for supporting small-batch, handcrafted artistry. Wear them often. Treasure them always.
